Having been trained as a litigation and disputes lawyer with over 15 years’ experience, Ben wishes to be a legal maestro* and a true justice seeker for his clients through providing warm-hearted counsel.

Ben also hopes that Myrtle & Jens can be an inspiration for present and future lawyers, that, despite its challenges, legal practice can actually be fulfilling and satisfying. In this regard, Ben is grateful for the tutelage of senior lawyers who showed a lot of patience and forbearance with him in his younger years.

WHAT

Ben has handled commercial litigation, personal injury / insurance disputes, criminal, family litigation as well as general solicitors’ work.

Some highlights of his work include:-

• Acting for various families in multi million dollar dispute over the administration of Estates.

• Achieving six-figure settlement sums for personal injury / professional negligence claims.

• Successfully defending an established company at trial and at appeal in a claim by its former employee

Ben’s cases have been reported in the local media and his views on various legal issues have also been sought recently.

The firm Myrtle & Jens is dedicated to Ben's loved ones, in particular, his two children M and J, especially if any of them (with or without his gentle nudging) wishes to practice law some day!
